FlyEvidence is a professional Insect Identification Service based in Midlothian, Scotland. Our service is focused on accurate taxonomic insect identification, commonly to generic or specific taxonomic levels, but occasionally only to the family level as required by the context of the contract.

Linked directly with the insect identification service, is provision of biological and geographical information concerning the identified species. In forensic instances, this includes estimation of the post mortem interval, using established mathematical procedures. FlyEvidence operates a 24 hour forensic response for crime scene recovery.
